News: First My Sims Info

NOM have shed some light on My Sims, the exclusive Sims offerings for the Wii and DS.

The games will continue most of the Sims traditional gaming, but a few improvements are being reported. Rather than being confined to your house, and a few surrounding ones, EA appear to be expanding the geography of the game world: a whole town will be included, with a larger community to interact with.

We quote: "By using the relationships menu you can keep tabs on who likes you, who thinks you could do with a wash, and who wouldn't spit on you if you were on fire." Additionally, greater control of house and furniture design will be available to the player, so you can get a little more creative if you want. And the developers are taking a leaf out of Natsume's book, introducing planting and gardening to the fun.

Otherwise, we expect it'll be business as usual when the games are released later in the year.
