A third-party company have announced the first game set to appear on the Wii Software download service.
Mere weeks after Nintendo announced their download service for original content, Wii Software, third-party support has already been announced.
Viennese Nintendo developer Bplus are planning to release their new puzzle shooter concept PLATTCHEN - twist 'n' paint on the download service in early 2008. This could perhaps be one of the games that will launch Wii Software. PLATTCHEN will be supported by Austrian game testing team GameClub (who reportedly consist of only Nintendo enthusiasts), will most likely utilise the Wii Remote's motion sensing capabilities and will, according to Bplus, attract casual and hardcore gamers alike.
It would also be interesting to note that Bplus' website contains a list of projects, with a Nintendo DS category that currently says 'TBA'.
Stay tuned for more on PLATTCHEN - twist 'n' paint.
