Koei and Taito announce two new titles each, meaning another four games on the way for the Nintendo DS! Details inside!

First off, Taito has announced Hipatte!! Puzzle Bobble - another game in the Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move series. Touch screen gameplay and dual screen play fields will be available for up to five players, with DS Download Play support. It'll be out February 2nd in Japan.

Taito's second title is Freedom Wings - an arcade-style flying game with RPG leveling-up style elements. Your pilot's reaction time improves as you gain experience, targeting becomes easier and you can also upgrade your craft by buying new parts. Using the stylus, you can lock onto enemies, control your speed, and select various weapons. The title is scheduled for a Japanese release on February 9th.

Koei isn't leaving out the DS either, with Angelique Duet and Daikoukai Jidai IV: Rota Nova, also known as Uncharted Waters DS. In the former, you play as a new candidate for Space Queen, where you must take part in the final exam which will test your abilities for queendom. Nine apparently decidedly un-hunky priests will help you on the way, as you must develop a continent over which you've been given control.

The latter, Daikoukai Jidai IV: Rota Nova, aka. Uncharted Waters DS, couldn't be more different - it is in fact a sea-faring game set in the 16th century. You'll be waging wars on rival armies and investing profits from trade into your home town in order to upgrade your ship.
