News: Fragile Getting Western Release

American gamers rejoice - the beautiful Japanese adventure title is confirmed for the US, which brightens European chances considerably!

Gamers, doff your cap to Xseed Games, who have picked up the U.S. publishing rights to Fragile from Namco Bandai, who previously stated a Western release was not on the cards. Developed by tri-Crescendo, the team behind Baten Kaitos, the game follows a boy through a deserted and ruinous world armed only with a flashlight to ward off the demons and ghosts within as he searches for his long lost love.

IGN report that the title will see release in American this Winter, with Xseed looking into additional content being possible for the Western release, as well as an option to keep the original Japanese vocal dub.

We're ecstatic about this news - the game was praised highly by Japanese critics, features some beautiful looking visuals and apparently a haunting storyline to boot. With an American release confirmed, will a European one follow? Stick with N-Europe as it breaks - but it just got a whole lot likelier!
