British developers Free Radical Design are working with LucasArts on the next in the Star Wars: Battlefront series!

Gaming site CVG has revealed that the next Battlefront title will be developed by Free Radical Design, of TimeSplitters and Second Sight fame. We reported recently that the Nottingham-based developer had recently acquired a special partnership with LucasArts, and this is now believed to be the title the two studios are collaborating on.

Studio director Steve Ellis commented that he was "not currently able to elaborate on the details of our recently-announced deal with LucasArts [but its] a project we are very excited to have been given the opportunity to work on. It will be awesome."
