The Wii version of Spiderman 3 is shaping up to be something rather lovely. Head inside to get the details.

When the Wii-mote was first revealed, there were a million and one ideas running through the minds of gamers all around the world. This controller would be well suited for first person shooters, but it would also work well as a lightsaber, or as Spiderman's Web-slinger.

According to CVG, Spiderman 3 for the Wii will include a new combat system, and also (as expected) a specific control scheme designed to make full use of the Wiimote. It will give players the "sensation of swinging through the city via the Wii Remote".

The Wii version will also apparantly feature two extra characters, Morbius and Shriek. Not much else is known about this game, but it is great news to hear that even movie tie-ins will be making good use of Nintendo's innovative controller.
