News: Fresh WiiWare From Sega, Square-Enix, Taito

Famitsu reveals Sega's secret project for WiiWare, along with new titles from Square-Enix and Taito as well...

This week's issue of Japanese gaming bible Famitsu reveals a trio of new WiiWare games from three top Japanese developers. One of which is Sega's secret project we reported on earlier this month, which seems to have been broken a little early (the teaser website is still, well, teasing). The game will be called Pole's Big Adventure and is set to be a NES-style title which will parody NES era games (eg. Mario, hence the big pixelated mushroom on the site). It'll launch February 3rd for just 500 Points.

Square Enix will bring its Crystal Defenders iPhone title to WiiWare (and later as well to Xbox Live Arcade and PSN). The tower defense game will launch next week on January 27th.

Finally, Taito are set to bring arcade game Bubble Bobble to Wii. The imaginatively titled Bubble Bobble Wii will keep the classic's 16-bit style graphics, feature 400 stages and multiplayer for up to four people. New stages will be available to download as DLC. It'll cost 800 Points and will launch before the end of January as well.

N-Europe will let you know as soon as Western releases are confirmed!
