Gamelion have announced that a prequel to the WiiWare adventure Furry Legends will be available on DSiWare in 2010.

Its larger WiiWare brother has yet to be released, but Polish developers Gamelion have already announced that Furry Legends will be making the jump over to DSiWare in 2010.

The DSiWare game, Furry Legends: Beginnings, will be a prequel to Furry Legends which explores the lush world of the Furballs before the invasion of the fiendish Squaries. The developer promises that the game will feature "beautiful, 100% hand drawn graphics, physics, puzzle, action and more". As you can see below, the game is indeed looking quite smashing already.

Furry Legends is already shaping up to be a special experience on WiiWare, with the character Nyx from Over The Top Games' NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits (the WiiWare title formally known as Icarian: Kindred Spirits) confirmed to be making a special guest appearance in the platformer.

Look out for Furry Legends hitting the Wii Shop Channel towards the end of the year.
