News: Gakuen Toshi Varanoir for Cube?

Recents rumours suggest that japanese Playstation 2 RPG "Gakuen Toshi Varanoir" is heading for the Gamecube.
...Well, at least it is in Japan.
The game, which is set in the traditional -and popular, Anime style of art and design. The game itself is an adventure game with full-motion cutscenes. It features co-operative dungeon battling and a story based around multiple choice question progression. So your answers to questions as the player dictate the flow and plot of the title as it progresses.
However, this hasn't been definitely confirmed as a Western release -and given the game style and likely target audience, I wouldn't assume it would be. Also, the Playstation 2 version received mediocre scores from the Japanese Gaming Press.
But a new game is a new game, even if it is average, weird and unlikely to be released...
