The tiniest Game Boy has finally got its date...well, in America anyway.

Nintendo of America has announced that the release date of their sleek new ultra-portable is scheduled for the 19th of September, little more than a month away. This comes less than a week after the Micro's scheduled rollout in Japan, on September 13th. Pricing, at this juncture, still has yet to be revealed. Recent rumours have placed the cost as high as $100, but that figure has yet to be substantiated.

Now, thats all fine and good for America, but when is Europe getting its hands on the Micro? That date has not yet been revealed. However, we won't have long to wait: Nintendo of Europe is expected to announce such details at tomorrow morning's presentation at the Leipzig Game Convention. Hopefully solid price figures as well as Play-Yan details will also be on the GBA agenda.
