News: Game Critics Awards 2005

It may be almost a month since E3 but that doesn't stop the Games Critics Awards! Find out what awards Nintendo won, all of which were voted for by games journalists.

Every year the Games Critics Awards look back on E3 and award companies and their games for their games that "will shape the future of interactive entertainment". This year there were 33 journalists judging who would win each award, and they represent the following publications:

Now onto the winners themselves. Nintendo won three awards this year, one for Nintendogs and the other two for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The full list of winners can be seen below.

Best Strategy Game:
Company of Heroes (Relic/THQ for PC)

Best Puzzle/Trivia/Parlor Game:

Best Online Multiplayer:
Battlefield 2 (Digital Illusions/Electronic Arts for PC)

Special Commendation for Graphics:
