An email from Game suggests that they are to take Gamecube pre-orders very soon. The email reads ''As you may be aware, the European release date of GameCube has been announced as May the 3rd. Rest assured that as soon as all details are finalised we will be offering a reliable and comprehensive GameCube pre-order!

Our full GameCube section is due to launch very soon, and will include all the best games to pre-order, along with daily updated release dates, news and information. Watch this space!

I received this email from Game (which is owned by the same company as Electronics Boutique Europe). This statement should also apply to Electronic Boutique stores, but by the time the GC comes out they should be re-branded Game.
