News: GAME Not Stocking The Last Story At All

Wii RPG completely removed from the struggling retailer's website, instore pre-orderers offered deposits back...

Following Monday's news that GAME would not be stocking the special edition of Nintendo's The Last Story, due to be released tomorrow, it appears that gamers will also be unable to pick up the standard edition of the game from the struggling retailer.

There is no longer any trace of Hironobu Sakaguchi's epic RPG on GAME's online store. N-Europe reader Alex Catena contacted GAME regarding their in-store pre-order and received the following response:

"Hi Alex, Unfortunately we are no longer stocking The Last Story on Wii. If you return to the store, they will be happy to refund your 5.00 deposit. I apologise for any inconvenience caused."

The absence of The Last Story from GAME's shelves is just the latest in the saga of recent failures from the UK's biggest video game retailer in stocking new releases. Just last week, the Nintendo distributed Tekken 3D was not available on its launch.
