After the recent news of a Gamecube price drop in Japan, Nintendo of Canada announced a similar move, lowering the price of the console from $229.99 to $199.99.

Bundles are still available and for a reduced price Canada gamers can get either The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Mario Party 4 or Star Fox Adventures.

This move was probably caused by the price drop of the competition's machines, but hopefully this means that USA and Europe can expect a similar pricing strategy.
