Nintendo have announced that a GameCube price drop is imminent in Japan, with the console due to sell for the equivalent of 102 Euros($119, �72). This makes GameCube the cheapest console in the world, a feat that is sure to tempt punters, as well as importers. It is unclear whether a similar price drop will take place in Europe.
