GAME has announced a new event that will be held in Birmingham in September.

At last night's BAFTA awards retailer GAME announced a brand new consumer show that will take place in Birmingham during September. The show, dubbed 'Gamefest' will take place between September 16-18th and will give gamers the chance to play new games.

Speaking to Computer and Video Games the retailer promises that the event is consumed-focused and not a back-door sales strategy. More details about the event and tickets are due in the coming weeks but according to reports it will only be available to GAME Reward Card holders.
