The GameCube is going to suffer another price drop in Europe, so for those of you that still haven't bought Cubes (you lazy people), now's your chance...
The French website Nintendo Difference has informed us that the GameCube's price in Europe will be lowered to 99 Euros from October 1st.
Also, Pikmin, Luigi's Mansion and Starfox Adventures will be lowered in price to 19.99 Euros, and Mario Sunshine will become part of the Players Choice range.
So, if for some obscure reason you have not yet bought a Cube, or have criminally missed out on one of the superb titles above (bar SFA), October's the time to call in your debts and get spending.
UPDATE: 24/9/03Nintendo-Difference contacted us today saying their Nintendo source has made a mistake regarding the price-drop. Apparently, he forgot to specify the nature of the price and frogot to add the tax total amount. In other words: The Cube will not be 99.99 but between the 129 and 149 including tax. They continued saying that the week of the announcement will be in the week of October 15th.
We will keep you posted.
