Undoubtedly helped by the recent release of Resident Evil Gamecube sales in Japan have risen by around 25%.

The GC went froms selling an average of 10,000 systems per week to over 12,500 systems the week of March 15 - March 21 while XBox continues to fall below GC slaes. At 10,000 the previous week it has fallen to under 8,000 systems. Good news no doubt.
