News: Geist and Killer 7 Delayed

The cel-shaded shooter from Capcom and Nintendo's ghostly 'possession-em-up' both hit delays in the US.

Though it seems like both of these games have been around in production for years and years, gamers will have to put up with a final delay before getting their hands on these eagerly anticipated titles.

Killer 7 (first scheduled for release in 2003) is finally to see light of day in America on the seventh of July. Which, you may have noticed, is rather gimmickly '7/7'. Hopefully the game was delayed for more reasons than to launch on that specific date. Capcom's reason for the delay was "the usual process of getting the game through production."

Additionally, Nintendo has also confirmed that it's title Geist, developed by second party n-Space and originally slated for a 2004 release, has been pushed back to August in America.

How these two delays over the pond will effect their release in Europe remains to be seen, though Nintendo of Europe's website still has Killer 7 down for a "Summer 2005" release, and Geist down to be released before the end of the year.
