Your favourite classic gaming series starring invertebrates is all set to launch on Nintendo DS!

Though the title has been rumoured for a while, THQ have now apparently to a source of ours they are to publish Team 17's latest in the Worms series, which will be availiable on DS and PSP.

Earlier this year, PALGN.com interviewed Team 17's Martyn Brown, who had this to say on the upcoming handheld Worms title and it's two platforms: "I think the DS is very refreshing and brings great opportunities for new styles of games - and I think the PSP is a very sexy bit of kit in style and technology - I think both will appeal to different markets. I don't think you'll be surprised to hear that we intend to bring Worms to both formats."

Currently, little else is known about the title which is being kept largely under-wraps. Keep it here for more on this title soon.
