Activision UK has announced "the biggest pre-order incentive the industry has ever seen" in preparation for the imminent release of Guitar Hero World Tour on November the 7th.

Eager gamers who purchase Guitar Hero World Tour (Complete Band Pack) will not only receive the game, the new improved guitar, drum kit and microphone. Included at no extra cost will be a free bass guitar (this is actually the official guitar controller from Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock).

David Tyler, Activision's marketing director for the UK and Ireland said, "This programme signals our enormous commitment to Guitar Hero World Tour". This offer was originally only available on some online retailers, however it has now been revealed that customers who pre-order the Guitar Hero World Tour (Complete Band Pack) from any retailer - either online, or in-store will receive the free bass guitar. "This is a significant investment to reward our loyal fans, ensuring the full band experience is available from the off."
