Real Bass Fishing (Wii)

News: Go Real Bass Fishing With Wii

Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to catch the 60cm long Super Big Bass. Your tools: Wii Remote and WiFi...

A Wii incarnation of the popular Japanese fishing game series Real Bass Fishing has been confirmed for the Wii, due for an Autumn release in Japan.

The game will make use of the Wii Remote as a fishing rod and takes place in 6 locations modelled after real life places like Crater Lake in North America, including underwater features. You will fish at different times of the day and year, and even different weather conditions. The amount of bass in the water will depend on all these conditions.

The game has a tournament mode, where you compete against computer-controlled fishers, as well as time trail and practise (you chose the location, time, season and weather conditions). The game boasts a 4-player multiplayer mode, too.

And that's not all. Real Bass Fishing also includes a 4-player online mode, so you can fish with/against up to three friends.
