News: Golden Joysticks 2011 Winners

Nintendo snagged a very lucrative award at this year's Golden Joysticks awards.
The annual Golden Joystick ceremony took place on Friday and hundreds of people from within the industry swarmed upon London to find out who had won what. We already knew that Sonic was going to get the Outstanding Contribution Award but what about all the others?
Unfortunately no Nintendo-exclusive games won any awards this year, although a few multiplatform titles that have appeared on Nintendo consoles did. However, Nintendo did win the Innovation of the Year award for the Nintendo 3DS, which is certainly reason enough to celebrate. Since the launch of the console it has been marred with negative press and doom-saying but it seems that the industry and fans, who vote for the awards, still have faith in the console.
The winners of the rest of the awards are as follows:

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
