A man has lovingly (or greedily) created a Mario-theme birthday cake on a galactic scale.

Everyone loves cake. When Will was tasked with baking a birthday cake for his daughter's 4th birthday, there was only one theme he had in mind. After successfully suckering his girl into letting him bake the cake of his dreams, Will set to work in the kitchen immediately. The result is nothing short of astounding.

The foodstuff itself required 7 batches of Rice Krispy treats and 7 different cakes, but there's more that meets the eye to this bakery genuis. You can actually watch the cake in action(!) via this link.

On his masterpiece, Will said:

"I had an extremely hard time deciding what to put on the cake. If you've played the game you might understand. There are so many levels its ridiculous. I had to have the castle and one round world. And for some reason I got bent on having the glass pill looking planet thing which I just thought would look cool on a cake. The silver disc was an add on at the end of my decision so I could add Luigi and some Galaxy like spinning. Seriously, I had the worst time cutting out worlds I wanted on here."
