Guild 01 isn't out until next week in Japan but Level-5 has already announced a sequel is in the works.
Level-5's 'four-games-in-one' Guild 01 may not have been released yet but that hasn't stopped the company behind hits such as Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven from announcing a sequel.
Just like it's predecessor Guild 02 will feature numerous games from four industry veterans according to Andriasang. Keiji Inafune, Kazu Ayabe and the duo Takemaru Abiko and Kazuya Asano will all be contributing towards the upcoming title. It is not yet clear how many titles will be available in Guild 02 but Andriasang has details about three:
- Alone - From the duo Takemaru Abiko and Kazuya Asano this game is described as a short-form suspense game as you take on the role of someone who is awoken in the dark with no memories.
- Mushikera Sensha - Anyone who doesn't like giant bugs may wish to avoid this game, which roughly translates to 'Bug Tank'. Set in WWII Keiji Inafune's title will see you battle giant insects as a tank that has been converted to mini size.
- Kaijuu ga Deru Kinyoubi - Roughly translated as 'Friday When The Monsters Appear' this game is from Kazu Ayabe and takes place in 60's Japan. Giant monsters and heroes have become popular with the children of the town and, as the title suggests, every Friday monsters come to town.
Guild 01 and Guild 02 feature some form of connectivity. According to the original report from Sinobi players will be able to unlock passwords in Guild 02, which you can then input into Guild 01 to unlock passwords for Guild 02. The process seems a bit complicated but that's what the original report currently says.
