News: Hanabi Brings Bomberman To VC

This week's European Virtual Console, WiiWare and DSiWare details right inside...

Lots of new titles for Europe this week, in the form of WiiWare, DSiWare, and two all new Virtual Console titles released under the Hanabi Festival banner - meaning they've never seen light of day outside of Japan before!

Kicking things off in the WiiWare department we have 5 Spots Party - a spot the difference party game for up to four players. It's worth 500 Points. Meanwhile Karate Phants: Gloves of Glory, an elephant one-on-one fighting game based on a German comic/cartoon series. It'll set you back 800 Points.

Meanwhile on the Virtual Console, this week's star attraction is undoubtedly Bomberman '94, originally released on the Turbografx and now available in the West for the first time. Up to five player multiplayer is featured in this, one of the best Bomberman games of the series - well worth the 700 Point price tag. Rounding off the Hanabi Festival releases this week is Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II, originally released on the NES and never released in Europe before. It's classic old-school adventuring fare, and again costs 700 Points.

Finally this week is the solitary DSiWare release of Art Style: BOXLIFE, the latest in the action-puzzle Art Style series which this time focuses on cutting paper shapes and folding them to make boxes against the clock. It's surprisingly addictive, and only costs 500 Points.
