News: Happy Birthday CAPCOM!

Happy Birthday to you...

CAPCOM, one of the world's biggest videogame companies completes a quarter of a century today! Although the company had its origins in the I.R.M. Corporation founded in 1979, CAPCOM Co., Ltd. was founded in 1983 when they relased their first game, the coin-op "Little League".

With so many hit games and series under its belt, like Street Fighter, Mega Man, Resident Evil, Breath of Fire, Bionic Commando, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, Ace Attorney, Okami, Zack & Wiki and many many others, it's safe to say that the gaming industry owes much to all the work CAPCOM has done these past 25 years.

CAPCOM's CEO Kenzou Tsujimoto left a message for the company's fans and investors in the official website, which can be viewed by clicking here. In the .pdf file available in that page, a Clock Tower movie is dated 2011, while the Onimusha movie and Street Fighter: the Legend of Chun-Li are set for 2009.

Happy Birthday CAPCOM! and keep'em coming!
