The first title to hit the Virtual Console in 2008 - and the only in this week's update - is Harvest Moon for the SNES.

Originally released for the SNES in 1998, Harvest Moon is now a global phenomenon. Even in this early incarnation, players are tasked with tending to and expanding their farms - sowing seeds and caring for animals.

The game is the only update for the European VC this week, and is available now for 800 Wii Points.
