News: Havest Moon Creator Contemplates Wii U

Harvest Moon creator is considering making a game for the Wii U and already has some ideas.

The Harvest Moon franchise has been a staple of Nintendo consoles for the last twenty years and its creator, Yasuhiro Wada, is considering making a game for the Wii U. While he hasn't decided yet whether he will or not he does have some ideas.

Speaking to NGamer Magazine Mr. Wada notes that he is considering developing a Harvest Moon title for the Wii U console but is quick to note: "I still haven't decided whether I will make Harvest Moon on Wii U". While he hasn't decided on whether or not he will he has come up with a few ideas already.

Yasuhiro Wada is particularly interested in how the unique controller could be used. He shares with us two example ideas he has had that could be used in the hypothetical Wii U Harvest Moon title. The first idea he gives involves characters turning on a TV in the game and the programme being broadcast to the controller. The other idea would see the controller's screen being used to display "an animal's teeth close-up when you want to give them a good brushing".

While we wait for Mr. Wada to decide whether or not he wants to bring the franchise to the Wii U let us know whether you'd like to see it using the comments section below. If you would like to see a Harvest Moon on the Wii U how do you think the game could utilise the controller?
