Ghostfire Games have confirmed that they will be bringing a new rhythm game to the WiiWare service.
Were you left feeling empty and disappointed by EA's mediocre music game effort, Boogie? Did you feel that the last dancing stage in WarioWare: Smooth Moves offered more value for your hard earned pennies? You most definitely weren't alone. Ghostfire Games have announced that they'll be having another crack at the rhythm/dancing/music game genre on the Wii with new downloadable title Helix.
Helix is a game which could be best described as a cross between Simon Says and Terminator. An on-screen robot will make various bodily motions which you are then tasked with replicating with your trusty Wii Remote in time with both the music and the robot. A wide selection of tracks will be available, along with Easy, Medium and Hard difficulty levels.
Despite the absence of prior confirmation, this title has actually been listed on Wikipedia for months. All hail Wikipedia!
Helix is expected to launch later this month in America (so either next Monday or the 26th of May).
