First television advert for Wii appears.

The Wii is almost here, and the first advert for it has been spotted on television! The advert itself was low-key, showing a hand holding the Wiimote, and a voice saying the release date, with the simple tagline This Is Wii. A very good introduction advert to get the hype rolling.

Unfortunately, there's no footage of the advert online at the moment, but we'll keep our eyes peeled! For your information, the channel it was spotted on was E4, around 19:00 GMT, though the advert expected to be on many other channels too. We'll keep you updated.
