Videogames killed the Gyrostarr! Head inside to see High Voltage Software's new WiiWare project.
Following the announcement of the rather stunning-looking The Conduit for the Wii, High Voltage Software have now revealed another beauty for the WiiWare service in the form of Gyrostarr.
A sci-fi shooter which features a four-player co-op mode across 50 levels, Gyrostarr has been described as a game which "challenges you and up to three other players to fly through a twisting, turning techno-plasma canal in space, collecting energy to penetrate an alien portal and warp to the next conduit. Without that energy, your space vessels will smash head-first into the unforgiving anti-void." And if that sounded more cryptic than Yoda trying to speak in reverse-Sindarin whilst scrawling riddles on your retinas, here's a nice little video which shows off the hectic gameplay in Gyrostarr.
Gyrostarr is scheduled for a WiiWare release on May 12th in America for 700 Wii Points, and Europe shouldn't be too far behind with the WiiWare launch now scheduled for May 20th over here.
