News: High Voltage Software Announce 'The Grinder'

More mature gaming from the gang at HVS...

Having recently announced Gladiator A.D.; High Voltage Software seem to be on a roll. Not only are they giving Wii owners THE FPS the system deserves in The Conduit, they now have another shooter up their gaming sleeves. And my, my does it certainly look pretty...

IGN have the scoop on The Grinder

Proving that HVS aren't just focusing on the looks, The Grinder promises 4 player online co-op as well as MotionPlus support and potential Wii Speak compatibility. HVS have also gone on to hint that sword fighting may be a feature in the game and mastering each of the four (very different) characters will be a pivotal part of the experience.
Focusing on an alternate reality where Vampires, Werewolves, the undead and other hideous monsters are in bountiful existence, The Grinder looks to impress with moody graphics and an art-style built around the influences it sources. The gang at HVS have mentioned both Left4Dead and Hunter: The Reckoning as well as the Tarantino epic From Dusk Till Dawn as influences on the title.

Here at N-E we can't wait to see more from The Grinder as it certainly seems refreshing and looks killer. HVS are currently looking for a publisher for the title too, our bets are on more SEGA ties but we wouldn't mind Nintendo themselves showing HVS some love.

Excited as we are? Comment below and let us know if you'll be keeping one eye (or both!) on The Grinder.
