Hori has announced that they are making a Mario Kart 7 steering wheel.

With Mario Kart 7 due for release soon Hori has announced that they are making a steering wheel accessory for the Nintendo 3DS so that the whole thing seems more real.

The wheel, seen right and in our gallery, will feature enlarged L and R buttons for improved comfort and is officially licensed by Nintendo. It is due to go on sale in Japan on December 1st for �1,280, which is roughly �10 or �12. It is not currently known if it will be released in North America or Europe.
