The North American arm of Japanese publisher Hudson Soft, Hudson Entertainment, is to close its doors at the end of the month following the buy-out of the Hudson Soft Company by Konami.

Hudson Entertainment was set up in 2003 and has been responsible for localising and publishing Hudson Soft's games in North America. The company's recent output includes the creative Wii platformer Lost in Shadow and horror-flick Calling.

All of Hudson Entertainment's planned projects have been cancelled due to the closure.
