News: Hudson Reveal June VC Releases

Four new Turbografx games on the cards for June and one more this month in America.
Even if you're a retro nut, the likelihood of you having experiencing the Turbografx (or TurboGrafx-16 in America) is very slim, as the console was not extremely well known in Europe and its game library just couldn't compare to Sega and Nintendo's systems at the time. Lucky for everyone, Hudson brought their child back from the abyss when the Wii launched in 2006, allowing generations new and old alike to experience their back catalogue for a small fee. And with that, I'll now tell you that Hudson plan on releasing World Sports Competition, Bloody Wolf, Dead Moon, and China Warrior on the Virtual Console in June, and JJ and Jeff this coming Monday.
Let's start with JJ and Jeff. First released in 1990 and originally called Kato and Ken on the PC Engine in Japan, this is a side-scrolling platformer in which you take control of two bumbling detectives trying to rescue a kidnapped businessman by kicking enemies, and spraying them with a can of spray paint. JJ and Jeff will be out on Monday in America for 600 Wii Points.
World Sports Competition, originally released in 1992 and also originally intended to be released this month for the Virtual Console, has been pushed back to a June release date. WSC is a game from Hudson containing several sports from the Summer Olympics, including rowing, swimming and track and field. World Sports Competition is due out next month for 600 Wii Points.
Bloody Wolf, originally released in 1990, is a side-on run and gun game featuring two commandos, a hell of a lot of weapons and a two-player co-op mode. Bloody Wolf is penned down for a release in June for 600 Wii Points.
Dead Moon is a side-scrolling action shooter from Natsume, first released in 1991. The storyline is as follows: around 200 years into Planet Earth's future, a comet that has been calculated to miss the Earth by over a billion kilometres decides to change its course, destroy spacecraft that are tracking its movements and crash into the Moon. An armada of alien military crafts await the human race on the Moon, all of which must be destroyed by... one spaceship. Dead Moon is due out in June for 600 Wii Points.
Finally, China Warrior is a platform/beat 'em up game first released in 1989. You play as a Chinese martial artist who must take down all of his opposing enemies. Everyone will be Kung Fu fighting in June for the price of 600 Wii Points.
Please note that all these titles are to be released in America, and there are no definite dates for Europe as of yet, but stick with N-Europe for the latest on these and any other Virtual Console games.
