VU Games unveil roster of talent for the Jade Giant's game.
Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) has announced the line-up of voice and Hollywood production talents for the anticipated Super Hero game from Sierra Entertainment, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.
The cast who are lending their voices include; comic and sci-fi fanboy favorite Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Beauty And The Beast) as Hulk's notorious Russian rival Emil Blonsky AKA the evil creature named Abomination.
Neal McDonough, who voiced Bruce Banner in the late-90's cartoon series "The Incredible Hulk," as Hulk's human genius alter ego. And actor Richard Moll as Devil Hulk, a version of the Hulk which is the embodiment of all that is evil within Doctor Banner's own mind.
The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction will be brought further to life through an original storyline written by acclaimed and Eisner Award-winning comic book writer Paul Jenkins (Hulk, Spider-Man, Hellblazer) and high quality artwork by signature comicbook artist Bryan Hitch (The Ultimates, The Authority).
Ed Zobrist, Senior Vice President Global Marketing of VU Games, said the following; "The authenticity, compelling storyline and unbelievable power and freedom found in The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction create the consummate experience for Hulk fans and core gamers. Add the tremendous talent of our voice-over actors, sound effects design and musical teams, and we're delivering the best Super Hero video game ever!"
Then there's Academy Award-winning sound effects designers, DaneTracks, known for their work on "The Matrix" film. They helped to create the sounds of ultimate devastation and annihilation that players will get to experience within The Incredible Hulk gameplay world.
For example, developing the sound design lead to DaneTracks actually conducting a junkyard foley session to record sounds of cars being dropped on each other and ripped in half thereby ensuring the sounds of "ultimate destruction" in the game were authentic.
Moving right along, acclaimed television and feature film composer Bill Brown (CSI: NY, Ali, Finding Forrester) created the impressive soundtrack for this new Hulk game. Brown worked with the Los Angeles Orchestra to perform the original score you'll hear.
Developed by Radical Entertainment, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is slated to hit store shelves this August for the Nintendo GameCube(TM) and other consoles.
Based on The Incredible Hulk comicbook character from Marvel Enterprises, this action-adventure game will be available for a suggested retail price of $49.99 and with an ESRB "T" for Teen rating.
