Nintendo have announced a revolutionary partnership with online gaming giant Gamespy.

According to Nintendo Power Magazine -the official Nintendo magazine in America, Nintendo have chosen Gamespy to facilitate their upcoming Nintendo DS online functionality.

Announced at the recent GDC, the DS will employ the wireless web to allow people all across the world to be beaten by me at Mario Kart. Wherever there's a wireless "Hotspot" DS users will be able to power up their DS with a number of online titles yet to be announced.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata -in bullish form as usual, said that the wireless functionality would be easy to use and quick to be employed by many developers when kits are shipped out in the next few months.
