Comedian and gaming fan Iain Lee will be hosting this year's MCV Industry Excellence Awards.

MCV is one of the UK's most respected trade publications and will once again be celebrating the best of the industry with the MCV Industry Excellence Awards. This year's awards will take place on April 7th and some new awards have been added that focus on digital gaming and distribution, illustrating the recent changes in the market.

Iain Lee has been announced as the host of the awards by MCV, returning after first hosting them in 2007. We spoke to Mr. Lee last year at the Britain's Best Nintendo Gamer awards and his passion for video games was evident throughout.

The category list for all the awards can be found below. For the next few weeks industry executives will be submitting their nominations to MCV before the finale vote is made. Stay tuned to N-Europe for news about the awards and the final results in April.
