id Software has its eyes set on Nintendo consoles...

In an interview with Wired about id's recent foray into mobile gaming ID Software hinted that DS versions of games like Doom, Quake Arena and Wolfenstein are all being looked into.

Also, if Orcs and Elves for DS does well, a Wii version might come along too - along with a PSP version also, though their main interest is the Wii. They also mention that they're working on new IPs for unnamed platforms.

Good news, specially for FPS fans.
