Ikaruga has apparently been delayed from Friday 9th to 23rd.

Nintendo-Europe.com still lists Ikarugas release as 09.05.2003 but several other sites, including amazon say 23rd. It is likely that Nintendo decided to shift it back so it doesn't interfere with Zelda sales.

Is this good or bad news? On the one hand we have to wait 2 weeks longer for this amazing shooter, on the other hand I have more time now to complete Zelda :)

Update

We confirmed with Atari that the PAL version of Ikaruga has indeed been delayed until the 23rd of May. No specific reason was given. I guess that leaves us some more time to save up for the game.
