The upcoming fighter gets another new playable character from Nintendo's past...

Today's daily update on the Smash Bros. DOJO!! blog unveils another newcomer character. This time around, it is Fire Emblem's Ike is making the cut, wielding his two-handed sword in one hand as a testament to his great strength.

His special move is named "Aether", and is capable of a single-stroke finishing blow with his mighty blade.

It is likely Ike will be taking the position/fighting style of previous Fire Emblem characters Marth and Roy, who appeared in Brawl's GameCube predecessor, Super Smash Bros. Melee. More as we get it.
