News: Indianapolis 500 Legends Heads To Wii

Re-live the "Golden Age" of racing on the Wii and DS...
Publishing compant Destineer has announced the racing game Indianapolis 500 Legends for Wii and Nintendo DS.
The game takes players back to the Golden Age of racing, and is set between 1961 and 1971. It will allow players to strap on the boots of recing legends like Al Unser, A.J. Foyt and Parnelli Jones, and lets them experiance "traditions, rivalries, terrifying speeds and jaw-dropping maneuvers of the world famous Brickyard."
The game is set to use the Wii Remote's Pointer and the DS' Touch Screen in pit-stop minigames, allowing you to change tires and refeul. The game will also have tonnes of Indy memorabilia to unlock.
Indianapolis 500 Legends will be developed by Torus, who are responsible for giving us Grand Prix Challenge, Le Mans 24 Hours and Shrek Smash N' Crash Racing, and is due for release this holiday season.
