Hardcore platformer Cloudberry Kingdom courtesy of Pwnee Studios bolsters Wii U's online store...

Indie developer Pwnee Studios has confirmed that its ultra-hard platformer baby Cloudberry Kingdom will be coming to Nintendo's next generation system.

In a sign that suggests indie studios are warming to the platform, Pwnee has currently announced the game for Steam and Wii U. Cloudberry Kingdom is a cutesy, colourful, ultra-difficult platformer partially funded by Kickstarter donations.

As it stands, the game is due to release on Wii U this December, three months after it gets a run out on Steam.

Cloudberry Kingdom joins Two Tribes's Toki Tori 2 and Gaijin's Runner 2 as indie ventures set to hit Wii U's online store.
