Platinum Games' tactical RPG finally enters our atmosphere next month...

Sega has confirmed that the long-awaited DS strategy title Infinite Space will release in Europe next month. The official date for Platinum Games' first handheld title is March 26th.

The release date puts it head-to-head against Ubisoft's Red Steel 2 on Wii. Two major, already-acclaimed third-party games exclusive to Nintendo systems - it looks like the Wii/DS front is already pretty strong this early in the year.

Infinite Space is a real-time strategy RPG with deep science fiction elements inspired by Arthur C. Clarke's Childhood's End. The game lets you fully customise your starship and engage in epic space battles across two galaxies.
