On May 7, 2003, Infogrames officially announced its name change to Atari, including all major subsidiaries.

Infogrames becomes from now on Atari .

Atari SA (formerly Infogrames Entertainment SA) maintained its symbol on the Euronext (5257), while Atari, Inc. (formerly Infogrames, Inc.) changed its trading symbol on the NASDAQ exchange to "ATAR." The Company gained all rights to the Atari license when it acquired Hasbro Interactive, Inc. in December 2000.
