News: Intelligent Systems Making eShop Puzzler

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems come together again for a new 3D puzzle game for the 3DS eShop...

Intelligent Systems will release its first game for 3DS on the eShop next week (in Japan anyway). Their new creation is a puzzler titled Hiku-osu, and it looks to be brimmed with content.

In the game, you play as Maro, whose town has been swamped from top-to-bottom with toy blocks. The basic premise of the game is to push and pull the blocks to create a path for yourself and ultimately reach the goal at the end. From the screenshots, it looks like the game makes very good use of 3D space.

Hiku-oso has over 250 pre-made levels, including many Nintendo-themed ones, but you can also create your own on the touch-screen. The game is out in Japan on October 5th, with no western release announced.

We've got more screens in the gallery, but you can also head over to the official site.
