News: iQue DS Coming To China

Nintendo has announced iQue DS for the Chinese market. Head inside for details.

The new announcement means that the Nintendo DS will be available for the Chinese market however it will launch under its trade name of the iQue DS. The system, which as of yet had no suggested retail price, will launch with Chinese versions of Polarium and Wario Ware: Touched!.

The iQue line has seen several Nintendo consoles released under the name including the iQue Player, a standard Nintendo 64 encased within a bulkier controller allowing games to be stored on Flash memory, to the iQue GameBoy Advance, the Chinese version of the GBA.

The iQue DS is believed to essentially be a re-branded version of the DS with standard Chinese text, rather than incorporating any flash-based digital download capabilities, a feature the original iQue Player was able to do.
