If you've been down to the Irish shops today, you might have had a big suprise...

According to Irish gaming site Next Gen Ireland, various shops in Ireland have sold Nintendo Wii consoles and games today (December 7th), despite Nintendo's official release date not being until 12.01am on the 8th.

Specifically, the Argos in Liffey Valley and Xtra Vision in Rathmines, Dublin have been reported as having them on sale. If you're in the area, we'd be interested to know any details if you have any. Leave us a comment below!
