James Patterson, best-selling thriller author, has praised Nintendo's motion-sensing prodigy.
James Patterson is the best-selling and critically acclaimed author of books such as Along Came A Spider, 1st to Die and Mary, Mary. He has sold over 140 million novels to date, at a rate of 20 million a year, and has recently stepped into the world of videogame development with the release of the casual murder-mystery Women's Murder Club: Death in Scarlet on the PC, based on one of Patterson's popular series of books.
Mr. Patterson recently spoke out in an interview about the Wii, which he holds a very high opinion of. Says Patterson, "The Wii is a terrific example of interactive done really, really well. You get people doing the tennis motion and not feeling stupid about it. We have one in our house. I watch it, I get it, I like it. We got it last Christmas and at the end of the day my wife and her 87-year-old mother bowled 12 games at midnight. She's going to get Wii Fit soon, too."
That's quite a compliment. Could we be seeing Patterson following in the footsteps of Steven Spielberg and creating his own Wii game?
